A good place for a bowl of beef noodles. The broth was good and the ingredients were tasty too. Maybe will try the Banh Mi next time.
First time eating here and I really enjoyed it. The food came out quick and the servers were attentive. Simple place for casual dining
I'm meeting a friend here because he's never had Vietnamese food. I've gone here before and thought it was good.
It's a small mom and pop restaurant with a laid-back vibe and nothing to brag about, yet it has everything I need to enjoy my meal.
We tried the cha gio tom (001), which is a four-piece shrimp egg roll served with a side of fish sauce. The outside is crispy, but I'm not a fan of the stuffing, which was scarce.
My main course I had pho dac biet (202) which was basically a house special. The broth was light and clear, but it had a strong beef flavor; Rice noodles that are firm and chewy. The brisket, tendon, and meatball are all extremely tender.
I also ordered banh mi thit nuong (102) to go with my pho. The baguette was well toasted and flaky. The pork is flavorful and has a wonderful char grilled scent. The ingredients are fresh, and it complements the sandwich perfectly.
It's an enjoyable comfort food that hits the spot, and I'm pleased to hear my friend liked it; I know he appreciates Vietnamese cuisine after this visit.
There a alot of pho places in illinois, some the soup is too sweet, some the noodles are overcooked, this one balances both and give you the best experience eating pho!
I just ordered Beef Pho and they added Parsley on top. I have allergy for Parsley. So, today I was hungry at my lunch , thank you guys. P.s. the parsley did not mentioned on the Menu.
This is a hidden gem!!! If you are craving pho then this is your spot! Large portions and delicious authentic food.
So glad I found this place! Friendly and fast service. We will definitely be coming back!!
The moment we walked in the door was fantastic service. Everyone there was really friendly. Our server took our orders and we blinked and our food was there. It was our first time trying Vietnamese food and it was absolutely delicious. The pho is so amazing and the spring rolls were fresh and so good Lived around the corner for 3 years and never tried it. Definitely coming back. Oh and those Ube cookies are the bomb. Gonna need more of those too
